AS Roma send defender Stefano Gori to Carrarese on loan
The Serie A side have moved the 19-year-old to the Tuscan club for the remainder of the season.
AS Roma have confirmed that defender Stefano Gori has joined Carrarese on loan for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
The move was completed on 18 August 2026, with the Italian youth international travelling north to sign for the Tuscan outfit.
Gori, 19, arrives at Carrarese with plenty of upside after coming through the Giallorossi academy system.
He made his senior breakthrough at Roma last season, featuring in both Serie A and Conference League fixtures.
Despite limited minutes, his performances earned praise from coaching staff for composure beyond his years.
Carrarese, currently competing in Serie B, will provide the teenager with regular game time to continue his development.
The loan deal includes an option for Carrarese to sign Gori permanently at the end of the campaign.
Gori is expected to be evaluated by Carrarese manager Davide Biondini over the coming weeks before being eased into the first-team setup.
His departure opens up a space in Roma’s defensive ranks as they prepare for the Champions League playoff round.
The loan reunites Gori with a familiar face in midfield, where former Roma youth graduate Nicolo Rovella plays for Carrarese.
Both clubs expressed satisfaction with the arrangement, highlighting the pathway it creates for young talent.
Gori is set to be introduced to supporters at a press conference scheduled later this week.
