Austin Held at Home by Philadelphia Union in 1-1 Draw
Late yellow card mars Austin's point as Union salvage draw at Q2 Stadium

Austin and Philadelphia Union exchanged blows in a tightly contested Regular Season clash at Q2 Stadium, with neither side able to find a winner despite a lively first half.
The hosts struck first in the 18th minute through a well-worked move finished by C. Sullivan, who tucked away a pass from N. Harriel to give Austin the lead.

Philadelphia Union responded quickly, with B. Hines-Ike pulling one back in the 21st minute after J. Rosales set him up, leveling the scoreline before the half-hour mark.
The first half ended 1-1, and the second period offered few clear-cut chances as both defenses tightened. Austin’s E. Torres picked up a late yellow card in stoppage time, capping a tense finish.
Referee Rodrigo Albuquerque kept the game moving with relatively few interruptions, though the tempers flared late as the hosts pushed for a winner.
The result leaves Austin in 14th place in the Western Conference on 20 points from 20 games, while Philadelphia Union sit 13th in the Eastern Conference, also on 20 points.
Both sides will look to regroup quickly, with the demands of MLS fixtures offering little time to reflect on a match that ultimately delivered few rewards for either team’s efforts.
Rodrigo Albuquerque oversaw the contest at Q2 Stadium, where the home crowd witnessed a match that promised more than it delivered in terms of drama or decisive moments.
