The home side made a blistering start, with V. Muriqi opening the scoring in the 7th minute. Marcus Greenwood doubled the lead in the 20th minute, and by the half-hour mark, Federico Chiesa turned provider, teeing up M. Asensio to make it 3-0 after 33 minutes.

Konyaspor pulled one back before the break through E. Colley, who finished off a Y. Andzouana cross in the 10th minute, cutting the deficit to 3-1 at halftime. The visitors showed resilience, and their efforts bore fruit when Deniz Türuc pulled another goal back in the 90th minute.

Despite the pressure, Fenerbahçe held firm. Greenwood added his second goal of the evening in the 49th minute, capitalizing on a Muriqi assist to restore the three-goal cushion. The result left Konyaspor searching for their first points of the season, while Fenerbahçe climbed to sixth in the table with three points from two matches.

Both sides deployed a 4-2-3-1 formation under their respective managers — Ismail Kartal for the home side and Ilhan Palut for the visitors. The match referee, Atilla Karaoglan, handed out three yellow cards, all to Konyaspor players: Deniz Türüç and Adil Demirbağ in stoppage time before halftime, and Enis Bardhi in the 61st minute.

Fenerbahçe will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming fixtures, while Konyaspor must regroup quickly after conceding four goals at the Chobani Stadium. The result also highlighted the sharp finishing of Greenwood, whose brace proved decisive in securing all three points for the home side.

The standings reflect the impact of the result, with Fenerbahçe moving up to sixth place in the Regular Season group, while Konyaspor remain rooted to the bottom ahead of Matchday 3.
