Galatasaray crush Erzurumspor 4-0 with Osimhen double
Victor Osimhen scored twice and added an assist as Galatasaray secured a commanding away victory.

Galatasaray made a statement of intent in Erzurum with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Erzurumspor FK, extending their strong start to the Süper Lig season.
The visitors got off to a blistering start when R. Sallai opened the scoring in the 12th minute, capitalizing on early pressure to break the deadlock. Just eight minutes later, Y. Akgun doubled the lead, with Victor Osimhen providing the assist to make it 2-0 before the half was out.

Osimhen then got himself on the scoresheet just before halftime, powering in Galatasaray's third goal in the 45th minute. The forward's brace ensured the visitors went into the break with a commanding 3-0 advantage.
Despite a spirited effort from Erzurumspor in the second half, they struggled to contain Galatasaray's attacking machine. Osimhen completed his hat-trick of involvement in the 79th minute, this time setting up Gabriel Sara's pass for the fourth goal, which the Nigerian forward converted to seal the comfortable win.
Erzurumspor managed to keep things relatively quiet in the final third but were undone by defensive lapses and a lack of cutting edge in attack. Their frustration boiled over late in the game when N. Akhundzade picked up a yellow card in the 84th minute, one of few bright spots for the home side.
The result leaves Galatasaray sitting comfortably at the top of the table after two matches, while Erzurumspor find themselves rooted to the bottom with no points to show for their efforts.
Galatasaray's coach Okan Buruk will be pleased with his side's execution of their game plan, while Erzurumspor's Serkan Ozbalta will need to address several areas if his team are to avoid another heavy defeat.
The match was refereed by Cagdas Altay, who kept the game flowing despite the one late booking. For Galatasaray, this victory provides momentum as they look to maintain their early lead at the top of the Süper Lig.
