Genk Cruise Past Beveren With Four-Goal Haul at Cegeka Arena
A dominant home performance saw Genk run out 4-0 winners against SK Beveren in the Jupiler Pro League.

Genk delivered a commanding display on home soil, securing a convincing 4-0 victory over SK Beveren at the Cegeka Arena. From the first whistle, the hosts set the tempo and carved open their opponents with regularity.

The breakthrough arrived inside ten minutes when R. Durosinmi converted from the penalty spot. Ten minutes later, J. Ito doubled the advantage, putting the visitors under further pressure.
SK Beveren struggled to find a foothold, though Y. Gomis was booked in the 29th minute for a tactical foul. Genk continued to dominate, and just before the break, J. Kongolo made it three, assisted by J. Erenbjerg. The home side took a three-goal cushion into the interval.
Beveren pushed for a response in the second half but were met with a resilient Genk rearguard. The hosts sealed the win late on when J. Kayembe found the net in the 74th minute, assisted by N. Adedeji-Sternberg.
