Osasuna and Levante play out goalless draw at Estadio El Sadar
A cagey second-round La Liga fixture in Pamplona was settled by neither side, with strong defending and limited clear-cut chances defining the afternoon.
Osasuna and Levante could not be separated at Estadio El Sadar, with the match finishing 0-0 in a tightly contested La Liga encounter on Sunday afternoon.
The home side, managed by Miguel Ramis Luis, lined up in a 4-4-2 formation, while Levante’s Luis Castro opted for a 4-3-3 as both coaches sought to impose their tactical identity early on.

In stoppage time, Levante’s S. Herrera collected a yellow card, likely for time-wasting or dissent, as both sides pushed for a winner that never came.
The final whistle confirmed a 0-0 result, leaving both teams with a point each from a match that offered little in the way of goalmouth thrills.
Osasuna’s position in the table remains relatively stable, sitting 16th after zero games played, while Levante finds itself in 20th place, having played one match without scoring or earning a win.
Despite the lackluster nature of the contest, both coaches will take encouragement from their respective team’s defensive solidity and will look to build on this foundation in upcoming fixtures.
