PAOK secure loan deal for Cherif Ndiaye from Samsunspor
The forward joins the Greek side on a temporary basis from the Turkish club.
PAOK have moved to bolster their attacking options by agreeing a loan deal for Cherif Ndiaye from Samsunspor, the Greek club confirmed on Saturday.
The 30-year-old forward, who has previously featured in the Turkish top flight, will spend the upcoming period with the Thessaloniki-based side as they prepare for the new campaign.
The move sees Ndiaye swap one league for another, with Samsunspor confirming his departure to PAOK on a loan basis through the remainder of the current season.
No transfer fee was disclosed in the official statements released by either club, with the arrangement structured purely as a temporary switch.
PAOK sporting director Frank Arnesen welcomed the arrival, highlighting Ndiaye's experience in competitive European leagues and his potential contribution to the squad.
"We are pleased to bring Cherif to PAOK," Arnesen said. "He brings a different profile to our attack and has shown he can adapt to different environments."
Ndiaye, who has spent recent seasons in Turkey, will now look to make an immediate impact in the Greek Super League.
For Samsunspor, the loan allows them to reduce their wage bill while giving the forward regular game time in a new setting.
The player is expected to be introduced to the PAOK squad later this week and may feature in upcoming friendly matches as the team gears up for the start of domestic competition.

Medical and administrative formalities have been completed, with the paperwork submitted to the relevant football authorities in both countries.
