M. Rojo penalty and Miguel Merentiel strike split the points in Avellaneda.

Racing Club and Boca Juniors were level 1-1 at the end of a tightly contested Liga Profesional Argentina fixture in Avellaneda.
Racing opened the scoring in the 9th minute when M. Rojo converted a penalty to give the home side an early lead.
Boca Juniors pulled level in the 28th minute as Miguel Merentiel found the net, with L. Flores providing the assist.

The first half ended 1-1, and neither side managed to break the deadlock in the second half.
Both teams had players booked during the match. A. Costa and T. Belmonte received yellow cards for Boca Juniors, while M. Martinez, E. Cannavo, and L. Perez were cautioned for Racing Club.
Racing Club, coached by Gustavo Costas in a 4-4-2 formation, remained 13th in Clausura - Group B with four points after five matches.
Boca Juniors, under Rodolfo Arruabarrena using a 4-3-3 system, also sat 13th, this time in Clausura - Group A, with six points from their five games.
Referee N. Ramirez brought the contest to a close with the scores level, leaving both sides with a point apiece from the encounter.
The result means Racing Club stay mid-table in Group B, while Boca Juniors remain in the lower half of Group A heading into the next round of fixtures.
Neither side could find a winner despite late pressure, with the draw doing little to lift either club up the standings.
