St. Louis City Hold Off Houston Dynamo Comeback for 2-1 Home Win

St. Louis City secured a 2-1 victory over Houston Dynamo at Energizer Park in a tightly contested Major League Soccer clash that saw the home side weather a late storm.

The hosts got off to a dream start in the 23rd minute when Sam Becher found the back of the net, with A. Matan providing the assist. The goal gave St. Louis City a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

But St. Louis City responded with character, as Dylan Polvara netted the decisive goal in the 85th minute to restore their lead. The strike proved crucial as the home crowd held on for three points.
