Union Santa Fe beat Aldosivi with late surge in Mar del Plata
Goals from Tarragona and Menossi sealed a 3-1 victory for Union Santa Fe after a tight first half.

Union Santa Fe secured a 3-1 win over Aldosivi at Estadio Jose Maria Minella in Mar del Plata, with goals in the second half lifting them to victory in their Clausura side six fixture.
Aldosivi opened the scoring in the 18th minute through A. Vombergar, assisted by A. Sosa, giving the home side an early lead in front of their supporters. Despite efforts from both sides, the score remained 1-0 heading into halftime, with Union Santa Fe looking to turn the game around in the second half.
The visitors struck back early in the second half when L. Menossi found the net in the 51st minute, with M. Estigarribia providing the assist to level the contest. The momentum shifted as Union Santa Fe began to assert more control over the match.

Just over a decade later, C. Tarragona added the second goal for Union Santa Fe in the 62nd minute, this time without an assist. His strike extended the lead and put his team firmly in command of the encounter.
Tarragona then completed his brace in the 64th minute, capitalizing on a delivery from M. Luna Diale to make it 3-1. The quick succession of goals left Aldosivi struggling to recover as Union Santa Fe dominated possession and territory.
Aldosivi pushed forward in search of a goal to restore parity, but their attempts were limited. Meanwhile, Union Santa Fe remained a threat on the counterattack, with their defense holding firm against late pressure from the home side.
Discipline became an issue in the closing stages. Aldosivi’s E. Lopez received a yellow card in the 71st minute, followed by B. Dadin in the 75th and N. Breitenbruch in the 82nd, as their frustration grew.
Union Santa Fe also saw J. Pintado booked late in the first half in the 45th minute plus stoppage time. The match descended into chaos in the 85th minute when J. Palacios was shown a red card, leaving his team to manage the final moments with ten men.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, Union Santa Fe held on to claim all three points. The result leaves them in 14th place in Clausura Group A with four points after five matches, while Aldosivi sits 15th in Clausura Group B with two points from the same number of games.
The match was officiated by referee Bruno Amiconi of Argentina.
