Toronto FC and Charlotte played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at BMO Field in front of a charged crowd. The match was a showcase of attacking football, with both sides finding the back of the net multiple times in an entertaining Regular Season clash.
Charlotte got off to a dream start when R. Aloko opened the scoring in the 8th minute, capitalizing on a pinpoint assist from A. Westwood. The hosts responded quickly, though, as M. Cimermancic pulled one back for Toronto FC in the 13th minute with a tidy finish following a pass from J. Sargent.

The visitors regained their lead before the half-hour mark. I. Toklomati scored in the 20th minute, benefiting from a well-weighted ball by L. Abada. Despite trailing, Toronto FC remained dangerous on the counter, and the first half ended 2-1 to Charlotte.
The second half brought more drama. In the 56th minute, Toronto FC had W. Zimmerman shown a straight red card, reducing them to ten men. Undeterred, Charlotte made the most of their numerical advantage when H. Kessler scored in the 58th minute, slotting home a pass from A. Westwood.
However, Toronto FC showed resilience. D. Salloi pulled one back in the 76th minute, finishing coolly after a clever touch from T. Corbeanu. With just minutes remaining, N. Dorsch kept the hosts' hopes alive, converting a chance created by D. Etienne in the 90th minute to make it 3-3.
The result leaves Charlotte in sixth place in the Eastern Conference with 29 points from 20 games, while Toronto FC sit 11th with 21 points. Both coaches will reflect on a match that delivered excitement from start to finish, with referee A. Da Silva managing a game full of incident.
