Vancouver Whitecaps delivered a commanding performance at BC Place, defeating FC Dallas 5-0 in a Major League Soccer regular-season fixture. The home side established early dominance, opening the scoring in the 11th minute when E. Sabbi found the net for Vancouver. The pressure continued as B. White doubled the lead in the 23rd minute, assisted by E. Ocampo. White completed his brace in the 37th minute to make it 3-0 before the break. Just before halftime, in the 45th minute plus added time, E. Ocampo scored himself, assisted by A. Cubas, sending the hosts into the interval with a 4-0 advantage. The second half saw Vancouver add a fifth goal in the 68th minute through B. Caicedo, assisted by T. Muller, sealing a comprehensive victory. FC Dallas struggled throughout, picking up four yellow cards — S. Moore (7'), R. Binyamin (31'), J. Torquato (42'), and L. Abubakar (59') — while Vancouver's M. Laborda received a late booking in the 90th minute. The result moved Vancouver Whitecaps to second in the Western Conference with 37 points from 19 games, while FC Dallas remained fifth with 33 points from 20 matches.
